BUYERS BEWARE!
I recently spotted several Counterfeit "Counterstamped" coins listed in Heritage Auction Galleries, that I suspected were forgeries. I contacted the NGC grading service who graded the coins, to which they have not replied to me directly. I also reported my suspicions to Heritage and they did not respond to me directly (but they did respond to a contact of mine. Below is one of the coins in question that I spotted at Heritage and the reply that my contact received from a representative of Heritage.

This is the simple reply received from Heritage:
"Thank you for your inquiry. I would say that this is an oriental counterfeit.
Regards,"

I also found several suspect coins that were graded by ANACS grading service also listed at Heritage Auction Galleries.
From this reply one could only assume that Heritage, NGC, ANACS, and Ebay have no interest in combating "counterfeiting" or "altering" activities, and their only care is for the amount of cash generated from the sale of counterfeits.
What are we to do when the very people that say "bid with confidence", and "trust us" are the real crooks?
I hope someone from the FBI's Internet Fraud and Crime Division, Interpol or some other relative agency sees these posts!
My Best Regards to all!

Ebay Counterfeit Coin Sellers
The reason for this blog is simple; In Ebay's own words "Ebay does not employ experts to detect counterfeits and therefore relies on the opinions and reports of professionals sellers"!
The sole intent of this blog is to inform Ebay Coin Buyers who the counterfeit sellers are, showing their Ebay names and the current or recently sold Item numbers of their counterfeit Items. These Counterfeit sellers and their items can be verified through the Ebay Coin Forgery Group Forum of which I am a member.
The List:
senatus_consultum Item #350407944474 this is just one of his many listings that are counterfeit, Our attempts to remove him or his items has been no less than futile because he is a Spain seller he is protected by Spain Ebay.
embosed This U.S. seller specializes in Counterfeit Chinese made coins from virtually any country such as this Item #160506056405 which recently sold for $710.11, he also specializes in "altered " dates, mintmarks and "fake counterstamps" such as this recently sold Item #160506123248 which sold for $325.00. This seller also uses at least 2 other Ebay IDs blazingluster and bogsii to shill and sometimes to sell his counterfeit junk also. Although we had some success in removing some of his items, this shrewd seller now makes his feedbacks "private" for about 2 weeks or more to prevent our Coin Forgery Group from contacting his buyers. After the buyers leave good feedbacks he allows the feedbacks to be viewed again because he cant sell when in "private" mode! Ebay seems to protect sellers that make huge profits for them as this seller does!
ccasti is a newly discovered seller with this Item #120649162399 In my opinion this is a sand casted counterfeit.
BY THE WAY FRIENDS AND KIDDIES: This isnt the first time Eldritch has pulled one over the eyes of the pros at ANACS, He managed to get the rarest of rare Philippine coins graded (a 1903-S U.S. Philippines Fifty Centavo coin)! Problem is; it had an "expertly altered" mint mark added. He consequently sold this coin for $10,000, the U.S. Red Book lists the coin at about $22,000 and the mintage is not known.
Remember this everyone; "WORD OF MOUTH" is the key to defeating these aforementioned SCUM, so be sure to become a "Follower" of this Blog as that helps the site to become more popular, and dont forget to post your comments!!!

As of 12/01/10 Here is the latest news on Ebay seller "embosed" aka Eldritch Yap; perhaps the worst offender and seller of "counterfeit" coins and "altered coins"and money maker for Ebay,
"embosed" just sold this "gem" Ebay Item #350413794242, a U.S. Philippines 1906 S ANACS EF-40 1 peso silver coin for $1756.02. Problem is, the coin is an "altered date" that somehow slipped past the ANACS proffessionals several years ago! I contacted ANACS and Im still waiting for their response because they know all about this coin, and Im hopeful that they will turn all of their info on Eldritch Yap over to the FBI.
